21 Jun 09 - The 2009 season is here. Welcome to the Henfield CC photo pool. The group is for members and friends of Henfield Cricket Club to post pictures of the club and its activities. If you have pictures of Henfield cricket that you'd like to share, you are welcome; please state your interest when joining the pool.

There have been many calls for photos on the main website, but the workload is prohibitive. So club members, get your photos up here; posting to Flickr couldn't be easier.

About Henfield Cricket Club

Henfield Cricket Club is located in Sussex, England, and was founded in 1771, making it one of the oldest cricket clubs in the world. A regular Henfield player, Henry Charlwood, played in the first ever Test Match in Melbourne in 1877, and Henfield was one of the strongest clubs in Sussex throughout that period.

Henfield plays in the Sussex County League from 2008, and currently runs two senior XIs on both Saturday and Sunday, three colts teams and a women's group.

Pictures added to this pool should be about the club and its activities, which may include socials, tours and, of course, cricket. However, please avoid posting pictures to the pool of club members outside of official club activities; these should be shared by way of your own photostreams or other networking. There are only a few rules: please read them.

When posting pictures, do add "Henfield Cricket Club" as a tag, and add something in the description that identifies who, when and where, as in the example below:
