About Help-Portrait L.A.
Help Portrait L.A. is a movement of photographers who are using their time, equipment and expertise to give back to those who are less fortunate this holiday season.
Save the date for December 12. It's a day where photographers around the world will be giving back through photography.
Currently, much planning is in the works to give you more basic details of this event.
Right now this is what we can tell you. It's an event where people are serving the less fortunate. Photographers will be taking portraits and then giving a print-out photo to them. It's not about building their portfolio or giving "free photos". It's about creating an environment where others can receive and feel loved.
In fact it'll be more than giving away photography. We want to give away food, clothes, toys, blankets, any donations that will benefit those in need.
