You must have love and respect for Oakland and that means everything about Oakland -- the good and the bad.

Your photos have to scream out "OAKLAND!" not..."Oakland?" ...k, you got it.

You can post photos of places, graffiti, or people...animals (those ducks at Lake Merrit)....an Oak tree, BART...anything Oakland. =) Food photos too! But only from restaurants in Oakland...especially from restaurants like Merrit Bakery which has been there since I was a kid!

Taco TRUCKS too!

This is my second attempt to create a true "hella Oakland" group. I'm more interested in the urban aspect of Oakland.

I encourage people to submit images that are seen everyday in East Oakland and West Oakland. Taco Trucks, graffiti, people or animals at Lake Merrit, die hard A's fans, cultural photos (cultural clothes/food/etc), photos of cultural events, Oakland's Chinatown, side shows, street racing, food you can only find in Oakland, etc.

Things that make urban Oakland what it is.
