About Flight: Raptors of N. America (free flying birds only)

Pictures showing raptors as they would be seen from a hawk watch.
Appropriate pictures show birds in powered flight, soaring, gliding, in kettles etc.
Birds taking off, sitting on the ground etc should not be submitted and will be removed without warning.

Accipiters, buteos, eagles, falcons, harriers, osprey, and vultures. The photos should be of birds that can be regularly find in N. America. Acceptable species are listed below.

Full color, b&w, and silhouettes are all accepted. Bird should be the primary subject of the photo and should be identifiable.

Please tag the photo with the bird's common name AND scientific name.

And, please invite other photos that you see in other peoples photostreams that show great shots of raptors in flight! Just copy and paste the code below.
