About Hawaii Photowalking
What is Photowalking?
Photowalking is:
Photowalking is somewhat different from "Street Photography". is a type of documentary photography — without explicit social agenda — that usually features people in candid situations in public places such as streets, parks, beaches, malls, political conventions, and other settings (Wikipedia). Whereas, Photowalking is photography that usually features non human objects that are on the streets, parks, beaches, mall, etc.
What Photowalking is not:
1. purposely set up macro photography on flowers, insects and still life subjects. Macro photography on subjects found during photowalking sessions are ok such as items from a shop window, something on the public places such as streets, parks, etc. 2. Studio type portrait shots, or shots that are purposely setup. All portraits must be "spur-of-the-moment" or candid shots.
