Please share photos here of ceramic artists and their works (like Cory Lum, Hideo Okino, Toshiko Takaezu, Daven Hee, Yukio Ozaki...). My preference is to see more works along this sort of Mingei/ experimental line... rather than ceramic statues of dolphins and frogs, but I'll try not to police this site.

Pottery/ Yakimono/ Ceramics are one of the best artworks of Hawaii. This site is dedicated to raising awareness of this hidden art. Please share photos here of ceramic artists and their works (like Cory Lum, Clayton Amemiya, Hideo Okino, Toshiko Takaezu, Daven Hee, Yukio Ozaki...).

My preference is to see more works along this sort of Mingei/ experimental line... rather than ceramic statues of dolphins and frogs, but I'll try not to police this site. The only condition is that it should be related to Hawaii and pottery (visiting potters are cool). Let's also try to keep this "safe for everyone" so we don't need to go 18+. Sorry.

Please feel free to add links to info about artists, galleries, etc.
