About The Hardy Women Challenge, Brownsea Island - Sept 09

On September the 11th of September 2009 - 29 women spent the weekend on Brownsea Island to raise money for the wildlife conservation charity, Dorset Wildlife Trust in Dorset, UK.

They slept under the stars with only a tarpaulin for shelter, cooked on a tiny gas burner and worked their socks off doing conservation work - all without the help of hair-dryers, mobile phones and hot water!

These are just a few of the pictures taken during this amazing event.
