About The Handmade Baby Challenge

My name is Kate, and for the gestation of my baby, I have challenged myself to make all of the items my new baby will need from recycled items. This will also include where our baby will sleep, in a handmade hammock as a papa and mama duo, and co sleeping attire. Please join our family in this project! My children are also involved making things as well for the new baby. I hope you and your family can get in on the action with yourself, if your expecting, friends or family that are expecting.
This group is meant for all of the families that are expecting a new baby! We will try to hand make all items that the new baby might need with either recycled/vintage materials. *Try* being the keyword here. If you just can't resist that cute print in the shop, go for it! Make something for the new one and please share!! This forum is not limited to only crafts and clothes but also any ideas for cribs, hammocks, swings, etc. Even the carpenter in your life has a place in this group!
