12 Jun 07 - The ONLY rule of this group: A person (or a pet) needs to be actually wearing, or carrying (in the case of a purse/accessory) the handknit or handcrocheted object! If your photograph simply shows a knit or crocheted item sitting on your bed, it will be deleted.

Ideally, the handknit should be paired with other wardrobe items so that viewers can see the handknit IN action.

About Handknit Street Style

How do you wear your handknits day-to-day? How do you mix them with your other clothes/accessories?

Show off your sweater with your favorite jeans- your socks and shoes you wear them with- your lovely new scarf and mitten set and your coat!

The only catch?

You have to show a person wearing them!

(If you don't want to show your face, that is fine, but show a body wearing the handknit item!)

No random shots of handknits sitting on a pillow or the floor. Put them on yourself (or the recipient) and share the modeled shot with us!

(Please no in-progress shots either - this is about FINISHED handknits, and how you wear them day-to-day)
