About Handheld Guides / Mobile Interpretation.

This is a group for those interested in / researching handheld guides and mobile interpretation tools/systems in museums and cultural sites from around the world. Hopefully more than just a colletion of images, this will develop into a reference tool with casestudies from around the world.

As well as of the actual device/hardware, I'm also keen that we should include images of all aspects of the visitor experience including:
- the hardware visitor interface
- distribution desk
- relevant in-gallery graphics
- publicity materials

This group is an outgrowth of an international research trip I undertook in 2008/9, and my blogging on www.musematic.net

It is the first Flickr Group that I have started so would love to hear from people with ideas on how to improve it, and find new ways to disseminate and share the content.
