About Stickers! I didn't use a computer pt. 1.
Okay so here is the deal, sometimes I get bummed on now many people rely on computers for their art. So this group will only feature stuff done by hand. NO COMPUTERS, PHOTOCOPIERS, PRINTERS, ETC. With three exceptions:
1. digital cameras to take pics
2. scanners to scan HAND-DRAWN art, or to scan photos
3. your computer that you use to upload
S'more rules ('cause everybody like rules).
• Drawing something and then MAKING MULTIPLES COPIES OR PRINTOUTS DOESN'T COUNT (you used a computer/copier), BUT THE ORIGINAL DOES!
• Silkscreening (old school style, NO COMPUTERS), painting, block printing, etc are cool.
• Mechanical pencils are okay as are electric erasers and electric pencil sharpeners.
• Wheatpastes, posters, etc are cool for this group as long as they are made by hand (notice the recurring theme?).
• NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE FROM THE STREET. Post your blackbook scetches, napkin doodles, etc...
• NO SLAPTAGS (unless you have INCREDIBLE handstyle). While I'm not against them, I don't consider scrawls on hello sticks as hand-drawn.
• NO PIECES, burners, thowies, etc... While technically these are hand-drawn, I want to keep this group more on a sort of drawing/art level. Not that traditional graf is not art, look, you know what I mean, lets just not go there. There are already tons of groups for this...
• Lastly, make sure the hand-drawn part of your flick is the CENTER OF ATTENTION, since that is what it is all about. Try not to post pics where your stuff is hidden is a mess of other people's vinyls. Try cropping in before you post.
Get busy, bust out the sharpies and paint pens, then post away.
