About Hamilton in the 21st Century: A contrasting community

The amalgamated city of Hamilton contains quite a few diverse communities. Wouldn't it be interesting to document every inch of Hamilton through photos while mapping their exact location using Flickr's geotagging option? This group is here to highlight Hamilton's vastly unique and contrasting demographic and neighbourhoods.

There are several unique areas within Hamilton that unify to create one city. Consider the urban degeneration of the downtown and north ends...the established residential suburbs on the mountain...the beautiful landscapes of the Dundas Valley and Flamborough...the industrial areas in the north and east end...the upper-middle class of Ancaster...the quaint hideaways of Dundas and Stoney Creek... the list goes on.

Please, contribute freely! This group is here for you to post your favourite images of Hamilton and area. What is your perception of Hamilton? How do these communities come together to form the City of Hamilton?

All photos posted on here should be mapped using the geotagging option in Flickr, thus specifying where exactly in Hamilton the image was taken.
