About Hallowed Ground Project

This group focuses on cemeteries and other memorials to our nation's veterans. It's purpose is to document in images these often hidden treasures that serve as a reminder to us all of the true meaning of heroism and sacrifice.

Photos should be of artistic or journalistic nature rather than "tourist photos". Images should reflect the solemnity and honor due those who lie in this hallowed ground. It is hoped that a number of Flickr members with a serious interest in this subject will make ongoing contributions to this group.
