About Habitat for Humanity Kuching House #49 Law Moi Nui

For 14 years, Law, Voon, and their four daughters lived in a one bedroom house that was shaky and leaked when it rained. The house did not even have an indoor toilet.

Law and Voon knew that their daughters needed a better environment in which to grow and blossom. Law has been working as a van driver for a snack food factory for two years. Voon also works just as hard to provide for her family, by taking orders to sew curtains. In addition to this work, the couple has also started a part-time recycling business in order to make ends meet.

As all four daughters are still studying in school, Law and Voon have struggled to provide for their family. Despite the hardships they face, the family always has a ready and welcoming smile.
