About Guinea Pig Connection

The Critter Connection, Inc., is a non-profit group dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abandoned and neglected guinea pigs. Located in Durham, Connecticut, the rescue was started in early 2004 when its founder, Cindy Kuester, realized that abandoned guinea pigs in our state had nowhere to go.

Cindy and her rescue have already placed more than 600 abandoned guinea pigs into new homes. Dozens more -- pigs with serious medical problems due to abuse or neglect, and pigs abandoned at an old enough age -- stay with us permanently in "sanctuary care," with access to expert veterinary care, wholesome food, and lots of furry friends.

Check back often to see what we've added. Many of the pigtures on this site are, or soon will be, available as notecards at our Zazzle gallery, at www.zazzle.com/ctguineapigs/.
