About Guildford Photographic Society
Welcome to the Flickr group for Guildford Photographic Society (GPS) members. This group showcases images from any GPS members who wish to contribute here, and offers a friendly platform for sharing and discussing individual images. If you belong to GPS, do please join in the fun.
This GPS Flickr group also acts as an exciting and dynamic gallery on our society’s website. Therefore we have just a few rules of engagement to ensure the group is fair and safe.
- Our group is moderated. This means (like many Flickr groups) any submissions are quickly checked before being displayed in the group pool, to ensure only ‘safe’ content as defined below appears on our website.
- 1 shot/day posting limit.
- Contributions must be civil and tasteful: They will be respresenting the club to the world, so take care to submit your best pictures.
- No disruptive, offensive or abusive images or words: contributions must be constructive and polite, not mean-spirited or contributed with the intention of causing trouble.
- No unlawful or objectionable content: unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable.
- No inappropriate (e.g. vulgar, offensive etc) user names.
- You must hold the copyright of the images you are submitting.
We have a number of GPS members who will happily help you get started if you are unfamiliar with Flickr – no question is too trivial! Any of the moderators will be happy to help. Equally, if you are a Flickr user in the Guildford, Surrey, UK area, and you are interested in joining GPS, do contact us via the GPS website.
