About Guess Where Utah (don't forget your tags!)

Welcome to “Guess Where Utah"! Post your photos of various location in the Beehive State. Other Utahns can post comments with their guesses of where it was taken. Participating is a great way to get to know our state [or show off how well you know the state]

Pics from all across Utah can be included. Utah is a big place and that gives you a lot of flexibility, but don’t make the location impossible. [No one is going to recognize a dirt road in Grouse Creek or a macro of a tile in the Capital Building.] Buildings, streets, restaurants, buses, playgrounds, etc., are all great subjects. You can make some pics more challenging by just showing a portion of the subject (i.e., just a leg or arm of a statue or a side of a building, etc.)

Respond to the guesses and let us know when someone has, in your opinion, come close enough to the location to be correct. [Hints may be given at your discretion.]

We depend on tags in this group, so please follow these guidelines:

Adding Photos
* Tag all photos added to the group with whereut and unguessed.

When someone guesses the location
* Delete the unguessed tag and add guessed.
* To assist in keeping score, tag the photo with somebodywon, where "somebody" is the name of the person who guessed the location. For example, jpstanleywon or bluheronwon.

Hints
* If nobody guesses a photo for a long time (at your discretion), add a hint as a note or a comment and then tag the photo with hint so we know which photos to go back to.
* After the photo is guessed, please remove the hint tag.
