It's a guessing game. Post your photos of New Orleans, and let people guess where you took the photo.

The group is modeled after the Guess Where NYC group, and stolen most of their guidelines ;)

Buildings, streets, restaurants, bars, cafes, etc....

Anything and everything is fair game as long as it's within the confines of New Orleans. And PLEASE, keep it safe for work. There are lots of lunch hour visitors.

There are only three (or four) rules:

1. Shots must be in or of New Orleans proper. This means Jefferson, St. Bernard, other surrounding areas don't qualify.

2. You have to respond to people's guesses. You can't just put a photo in and walk away, because then you're only fishing for exposure and not playing the game. Your shot will be deleted from the pool if you don't respond to people's guesses. We're not asking for immediate gratification (this is NOLA after all), but within a few days would be good. Longer than a week or two is a little much.

3. Do not give the location away with your tags, title, caption or groupings. Those that do will have the photos removed, possibly without warning. That's not to say the photo isn't enjoyable, but it just doesn't make the game much fun.

4. Photos should be of a public location. Pictures of people, bathrooms, your roomates messy desk, or your kitty don't really work.

Please limit postings to three or four per day; that way people have a chance to guess at all of them! Additionally, it's considered rude to post more than two or maybe three consecutive photos; let other people intersperse theirs so you don't monopolize the group display. We've set a limit of 7 photos a week to limit dumping

When posting a pic to the group, please add the tag nolaunguessed to the photo. Once the photo is guessed, please remove the unguessed tag and replace with nolaguessed. This way we can do a search on those tags to see what has/hasn't been guessed. This is optional, but will be helpful.
