About Guess Where Indianapolis
Like the many other "Guess Where" groups in other cities, this one is the "Guess Where" game for Indianapolis, Indiana.
THE GAME:
Post a photo of an Indianapolis location and the other members will try to guess where it is.
Please note - you do not need to be a member of the group to guess. Outside guessers are welcome. You only need to be a member to post.
GUIDELINES/ETIQUETTE
¤ The pool is for unguessed photos only. Once your photo has been guessed, you should remove it and post a record of it in the latest thread - follow the easy instructions at the top of the thread.
¤ When you post a picture, please check in on it as often as possible and respond to people's guesses whether they are right or not. (If an admin is of the opinion that there is a lack response, it will be removed.)
¤ Photo's should be of a reasonable size and quality.
¤ Please offer clues after a few wrong guesses. These may be geographical, cryptic, or photographic (in the form of wider crops, adjacent buildings, etc) or any other form of clue. Clue pictures should not be added to the group pool, just to the comments of the one it's a clue for.
¤ Please add the following tags to guessed pictures, so that in future it's easy to search through the group history:
"Guess Where UK"
"guessed by guesser"
some tags to identify the location - town, area, street name, building name, postcode, that sort of thing. Geo-tagging is a nice idea too ;-)
WHAT NOT TO POST
¤ Photo's with no guessable content. There should be enough detail to pinpoint the photo to a unique location.
¤ Photo's with location data in the tags, titles, captions or sets, or visible in street signs or on buildings in the photo itself are not recommended.
¤ Photo's posted to other groups until they have been guessed as this makes it difficult to follow what's going on.
