About The genius or unemployed alley prowling collective (guapc)
We take photos in alleys or of objects that one might expect to find in alleys. Origin explained here.
We are based in Vancouver, B.C., but we welcome alley captures from anywhere on the planet.
We're not big on "rules" (so no you don't have to be a genius or unemployed even), but here are a few submission guidelines:
-Please try to keep submissions alley-related. A photo of a sidewalk with a pretty shadow may be a beautiful shot, but if it does not say "alley" please refrain from including it. (some exceptions for group photowalks).
Submissions that don't come anywhere near meeting an alley criteria may be removed.
Repeat 'offenders' or group-spamming users may be removed or banned from the guapc without notice.
-There is minimal curation but since the group's creation, there has been a limit of photos per user per week. This is simply to prevent swamping. This isn't a pissing contest, after all! Although those have been known to occur in alleys, of course...
