04 May 11 - There's a clue about what is acceptable for this group in the title, ie the word 'grotty'. So why people are posting biscuit tin shots of kin ole sunsets and couples walking hand in hand along the seafront is beyond me. If you're not sure what is meant by the word 'grotty' there's plenty of dictionaries about. Photos that are not grotty enough will be rejected.

About Grotty Seaside

Another crap group to dump stuff in. What else do you expect when I am lying down on the sofa with my laptop, too ill to do anything else? I need to have some purpose to my life other than watching garbage like Celebrity Crap in the Attic, so why not create another Flickr group?

The photos you should add to this group should show the grottiness of the seaside, for instance:
- boarded up kiosks
- eroded signs
- burnt down piers
- derelict amusement parks
- faded grandeur
- derelict hotels
- filthy looks

You get the idea. Absolutely no postcard shots, thanks. The photo should really show that it was taken at the seaside.

Photos that are not grotty enough will sadly be rejected from the group.
