Located at 415-417 E. 18th St. in the Crossroads district in Kansas City, Missouri.
Grinders Pizza and Grinders West are 2 different restaurants that sit side by side and are locally owned by 2 East Coast guys who moved to K.C. years ago. They also are involved in the Crossroads KC Music Venue that is located directly behind the restaurants.
Grinders Pizza www.grinderspizza.com/ is a nice place to hang out with your friends and family and is a dive, I guess you could say. They have the best thin crust New York Style pizza in town along with the best Philly steak sandwich outside of Philly.
Grinders is also home to one of the best beer selections anywhere and holds monthly Taste Beerings which showcases a different beer style every month, like Belgian or IPA's.
Grinders has hosted Guy Fieri from the Food Network and has been featured on his Food Network show Diners, Drive-In's and Dives.
On the other side of the coin...
Grinders West grinderspizza.com/index.php?/grinderswest/ is an upscale delicatessen with down home prices. Located right next door to the original Grinders restaurant in the heart of Kansas City's Crossroads Arts District. Grinders West serves sandwiches made with the finest Dietz & Watson meats and artisan cheeses, along with soups, salads, and pasta. In addition, diners can always order off of Grinders menu from next door.
The Crossroads KC Music Venue is the best outdoor music venue in K.C. They feature very diverse music acts that cross the spectrum. Rock, Country, Bluegrass, Funk, etc...I'll let them describe it.

I hang out down there quite a bit and take a lot of pics and have seen a lot of other people taking pics too. I wanted a specific group to share my pics and see what other folks have taken. I did work at Crossroads KC in '07 and '08. I even helped build the stage.
This group is un-Official. While I know almost everybody that works down there, this is not a officially sanctioned group.
It's a real fun place to meet people and hangout, even when there's not a show that night. Let's see your pics.
