30 Jan 13 - John Greenfield and I have suspended work on Grid Chicago and are now writing for a new blog called Streetsblog Chicago. Please continue doing what you did, adding your great photos of biking, walking, and transit in the Chicagoland area.
About Streetsblog Chicago
A group for Streetsblog Chicago.
Streetsblog Chicago is a blog about sustainable transportation issues and culture in Chicago and Illinois (oh yeah, just like Grid Chicago).
Photos should feature sustainable transportation modes take in Chicago, Chicagoland, and other parts of Illinois. Sustainable transportation modes include walking, biking, and taking the bus or train. The mode should be really obvious. It can show people in motion, or the infrastructure.
We may use your photos our articlese an occasional feature displaying your photographs. The latest photos automatically appear randomly on a widget on our website.
This group was formerly called Grid Chicago. We moved to Streetsblog Chicago on January 17, 2013, and we didn't want to waste time creating a new group that features exactly the same thing.
