In Japan, they call them Race Queen (レースクイーン), The term is also used outside of Japan in Korea, China and other Asian nations. In Chinese words they are know as 賽車皇后 (Race Queen) or 賽道女郎（Circuit Girl）.




The Korean term for a grid girl/race queen is a "racing girl" (레이싱걸). In Thailand they are known as "pretties" and they are used extensively at events ranging from the Bangkok International Motor Shows to minor events such as openings of shopping centers.
