About Greece - life in an economic crisis
Austerity measures, a general strike, mass street demonstrations - Greece has been rocked by the reaction to its growing financial crisis.
This group is for signs of how the economic emergency is affecting life in Greece - from protests in Syntagma Square to disruptions to work and the daily routine, as shops and services close down.
If you've seen the impact of the financial meltdown on Greeks' day-to-day lives or resistance in the face of the country's crumbling economy, this is the place to post your images. Although our editorial series on Greece in Crisis has come to an end, we'll keep this group open.
We'll feature some of our favourite portfolios and pictures from the group on guardian.co.uk and maybe in other formats, e.g. our newspapers. By posting your pictures here you a) acknowledge that you have created the pictures or have permission to do so; and b) grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, free licence to publish your pictures as described. Copyright resides with you and you may reuse your pictures however you wish. You will be credited and paid if we make other uses of your pictures.
