About The Great White North

North American states and provinces welcome. Pretty much any central Canada. And upper midwestern US. We want upper middle America. But if it doesn't regularly snow (and stick)in the winter in your state, you're too far south. Join a "midwest" or similar group instead.

No pacific northwest. It is BEAUTIFUL there, but there are LOTS of groups for that!

Too far west: Idaho, British Columbia.
Too far east: Michigan, Illinois, Ontario.
Too far south: Colorado. Utah. Kansas. Missouri.

I created this group before I was able to locate the other groups for these states and region, but I decided to keep it because it's a bit more broad than the rest. Basically, post any pictures you have involving this region of the country.

We'd love to see summer and winter, city and country, animals, people, festivals, monuments. HOWEVER, if you're posting photos of people/family/friends/animals.. please make them geographically relevant.

Example:
Kids building a snowman in South Dakota? Perfect.

Your senior high school photo, taken in a photo studio in South Dakota? Not so much.

There are plenty of groups out there for pro photographers to post their studio work, and maybe some are location specific. This is not one of those groups.
