About 366/2012 - The Great Leap Forward/English

Is taking pictures your passion? Do you like exchanging your views on photography, cameras, picture editing as well as Life, the Universe and all the Rest with other, like-minded people? And have you recently considered joining one of those flickr - 365 projects, but were a little put off by all those very strict rules and regulations? If so, then this is just the group for you. You may join by invitation, so please drop me a line via flickr mail.

This group has (a few) rules, too, they’re meant to help you carrying on and – most important - improving your photography.

·You may join the group as of today, the latest possible date, however, is February 29, 2012. Logical, isn’t it? After all, this is a Project 366.
·You grab your camera every day and take at least one picture. You choose one for every day of the year, which you may upload within the next 30 days. Please don’t cheat about the date of your shots; in the end you’re just cheating yourself, and that will make you unhappy.
·Critical remarks about other members’ photos are explicitly called for, if possible, accompanied by tips for improvement. When criticizing, please do so kindly and respectfully.

There is no restriction as to your motives, just a wish: Wouldn’t you agree that 366 self-portraits are a tad egocentric?
Please create a 366/2012 album in your own photostream (as well as one with your outtakes, if you like).
In case you find after a while that you would prefer to discontinue the project, just give a shout. Of course you may stay a member of the group and carry on viewing and commenting on other members’ pics. Re-joining after a while, though, forbids itself, due to the nature of the project.
