About Grandma

Grandmas, grandmothers - the most important member of the family, and for many of us the wisest, loveliest, kindest and dearest woman we'll ever know. Please share your best and most precious images with us.

RULES

This is a place to celebrate the kindness of our grandmothers and grandmothers in general, to recognise their roles in our lives, their importance, their love, and a place to (collectively) showcase the similarities as well as the diversity of women.

1. Please post images of actual grandmothers/great-grandmothers, etc., not just of women and seniors.

2. If you are a grandmother, you can post relevant images of yourself but please keep them to a minimum. The real focus of the group is on others rather than self (however all grandmas are welcome).

3. Objects and concepts that remind you of your grandmother are fine as long as they are meaningful and are also kept to a minimum. Please explain what the object/concept is about to avoid having it removed from the group.

4. Old photos are welcome! And enjoy...

New members are reviewed to ensure their personal photostreams are well-intentioned. If you have inappropriate material in your photostream or you are not sharing any photos in your photostream, your motivation for joining the group will be considered malicious and you will be banned. (This does not include professional photographers that occasionally capture nude forms, this is referring to photostreams dedicated to inappropriate and erotic material.)

Although I'm sure our grandmothers are flattered, there are other groups on Flickr for that kind of admiration, and we insist that you respect the safe, family-oriented atmosphere of this particular group.
