About Grab // Twenty Eleven // Captured Moments

We're looking at capturing those special moments through photos. Shot with the latest pro gear or your mum's old Instamatic. Thoughtfully composed or snapped on the run.

Take your time, look around, explore those moments that are unique to you and your social circles. Look for the extraordinary in the ordinary, it is all there just waiting for you to capture it.

If you impress the esteemed judging panel of professional photographers and a Getty Images photo editor you may be invited to contribute to The Flickr Collection on Getty Images – a prize that could see you selling your photos worldwide.

First place* – The Photographer of the image awarded first place will walk away with a Nikon D700 DSLR & AF-S 85mm f1.4 lens, worth over $5,000
Runner up* – will receive a Nikon D3100 twin lens kit (18-55mm VR + 55-200mm VR lenses).
Top twenty – The best twenty images submitted, as selected by the judges, will be displayed at a public exhibition in Sydney (Showcase Gallery).
The Peoples Choice Award– Will be awarded the brand new Nikon 1 camera, not yet available in stores and only announced last month.

This is a fantastic opportunity for new, raw and emerging talent to kick start careers and get noticed by some of the best in the industry.
