About Gourmet Food Truckers

To document the foodie supported Gourmet Food Truck (GFT) Movement all over the US and abroad. Much to the chagrin of many traditional restaurateurs, the popularity of gourmet food trucks is on the rise. This Flickr group is a community of food lovers who want to share the photo evidence their delicious, delectable and unique street dining experiences, and Gourmet Food Truckers who want to share the photos of their experiences with the world. GFTs serve communities in several important ways, tasty food aside. One way is by creating broader accessibility to gourmet foods through reasonable prices for quality culinary masterpieces. Additionally, GFTs provide a platform for: innovative chefs looking for an entirely different way to distribute their food creations, aspiring chefs looking for an opportunity to build their personal brands as up and coming "chefs to be reckoned with," and devoted foodies cum gourmet food truckers who want to translate their passion for food into a profession.
