About The Good Sepia Group

This is a group for good quality sepia images.

The images can be of any subject that is suitable for family viewing.
So, please no nudity or suggestive images, or images depicting or suggesting any form of violence. No images depicting weapons shown in an aggressive or violent manner. Some weapons are allowed in the images, such as images of static museum displays and pictures of war and military reenactment groups, unsuitable images showing weapons will be removed.

The images must be sepia, and the sepia must cover the entire image,
these can be images that were taken as sepia in the camera, or processed to sepia in an editing program later.
Any images with any colour in will be deleted, all images MUST be true sepia images, please no images that have a splash of colour.

The dictionary definition of sepia is 'a brownish colour imparted to a photograph', I have seen many images labelled as sepia that appear to be B&W, with no hint of a brown tone, if the image does not have an obvious sepia (brownish) tint, it is at risk of deletion, keep this in mind when posting images.

The group is mainly for recent photographs, a few old sepia prints will be accepted into the group, but not too many please, DO NOT post old sepia postcards, there are groups available dedicated to those pictures.

If an image has been deleted, it will be for a good reason, so please do not repost and waste Admin time.

The group has a daily posting limit of TEN images per day, you are welcome to post as many images as you want, but when you reach the daily limit, you will need to wait 24 hours before posting more images.
