About Gonzaga University photo search
This group will be linked to staff and Gonzaga departments who need photos for print in publication, advertisements, web design, and other creative projects relating to Gonzaga University. MarCom and photographer will need to know what projects these photos are used for. (*no 3rd party use*)
1) Give the photographer photo credit. Always.
Suggestion: When you rename the photo file, rename it with the photographers name/then the subject, or start a folder with their name and contact information. When done with the file, please delete. The file sizes are large and add up on the servers very quickly.
2) Do not share the photos, passwords, with anyone else. We are keeping track of how many times a photo is used and for what purpose. Heavily used photos will be reshot so they look "new"; this is the only way we know what needs to be updated.
3) Photos are not be be placed on the main server to share or store or emailed to others. A new request needs to be done each time a photo is used! Again- this also keep the servers uncluttered and working quickly.
4) Every time a photo is used, it is your responsibility to tag the photo with appropriate "use" information. See main page discussions for what info is needed!
