05 Jan 11 - There are plenty of groups on Flickr for flawlessly beautiful photos. This is the group for those other photos. We call them "gonewrongs" and they are welcomed and cherished here.

The idea for this group came largely from this book.

About Photography Gone Wrong

This group is for photos that somehow went wrong, photos you would normally have rejected but didn't because they had a strange random beauty to them.

Any of the following are suitable:
- badly blurred
- subject disappearing from shot
- badly under/over-exposed
- film photos ruined in the lab
- badly angled because you fell over a small dog just as the shutter opened

That sort of thing.

As a guideline, the more accidental the better. Please try to keep this a group for strangely pleasing cock-ups rather than purposefully composed "effects" shots.

The group was inspired by this book which I got a while back for my birthday:



Highly recommended if you get a chance to buy, borrow or browse it!
