About Gold Rush Days

Gold Rush Days over Labor Day weekend in Old Sacramento, California recreates the time of the gold rush around 1852. The street is filled with dirt to cover up asphalt. Entertainment includes western demonstrations like Pony Express riders, gold panning, tent city, and musicians. Sometimes dry, dusty and very hot (100Fs).
