About Golden Hour Gold Medal Shots
As most landscape photographers know, the best light for superb landscape images occurs during the golden hour. This is that magical time one hour after sunrise and one hour before sunset. During this time, the light is "golden", not harsh like it is during the day when the sun is high in the sky. Shadows are also longer producing more depth to photographs.
Golden Hour Gold Medal Shots is an invitation-only group and contains some of the best golden hour images from Flickr (at least that's what we think!). For the sake of this forum, we've defined the golden hour as anything one hour either side of sunrise and sunset. This includes dusk and dawn.
So sit back and enjoy some of the best that nature has to offer!
