According to the Bible
"In the begining God created the heavens and the earth. And God saw that it was good."

Heres a brief summary of the Story of Creation from the book of Genesis.
1st Day - God separated light from the darkness
2nd Day - God made the sky and water
3rd Day - God made dry land and plants
4th Day - God made the sun, moon and stars
5th Day - God made the birds in the sky and the fish in the oceans
6th Day - God made the animals and man
7th Day - God rested
