There is now a Map on the Godalming website;

www.godalming-tc.gov.uk/map/

One of the layers on that map is "images". If you have geotagged any of the photos you added to this group, "Godalming and Farncombe", they should appear on that map and they preview and link to your images.

The data is refreshed overnight, so if you add/remove or relocate a geotag you won't see it change till tomorrow.

About Godalming and Farncombe

Views around the town of Godalming and the nearby Farncombe area of South West Surrey in England.

Street scenes, interesting buildings, events, people, wildlife - anything taken in or around Godalming or Farncombe gratefully received.

Please only add your image if you do not object to it appearing on the Godalming Town Council website www.godalming-tc.gov.uk with full accreditation of course.

It would be really great if you could geotag the photos you put in the pool too. Geotagging is something that either you camera does for you, or, most likely, you have to pick the place you took the photo from a map that Flickr provides. It is worth working out how to do it because it helps bring visitors back to your photo collection.

When you are reviewing a photo you will see the link in blue on the Right Hand side of the page "Add to your map", then follow the instructions.
