Magazine Frequency:
Two issues a year. One digital and one printed. Very limited copies with the printed issues.
Magazine Aesthetics:
The magazine is 4/color printed and Digital. Every printed issue will change in size, finish and price. Giving the magazine a unique feel and look. We believe that change is a good way to stay creative.
Who is featured:
We showcase well known artists, new and upcoming artists.
How is done:
Guardian of Bravery is a self-published magazine with complete control over the art direction, aesthetic of the magazine and content showcased on each individual number.
What is on digital:
The digital issues contain a specific theme and artwork to every digital issue, as the artists will be able to collaborate their own unique artwork specifically for the issue.
What is on printed:
The printed issues feature the latest contemporary and visual communication artworks from an array of artists, photographers, interviews with electronic musicians, interviews with interactive designers/film, fashion designers and culture.
Projects:
Each digital issue will release with a project. The project will be a limited piece of art, whether it is something printed or something made, or both. We will get creative!
How the Magazine is Funded and Why it is published:
Should I subscribe? Yes! Your subscription will help fund GOB very much. The magazine does not contain advertising and our goal is to produce a piece of art that can be seeing as a reference and as an art display. (Make sure you place it on your coffee table, bag pack, office table, well you get the point.
Why Guardian of Bravery:
Art is a representation of who we are. Art makes us happy. We consider art a profession. We love meeting artists. We express our emotions through art. Art is everything. That’s why we publish GOB Magazine.
