About GM New Look
Once upon a time (August, 1959, to be precise) General Motors unveiled their new transit bus design. Heads turned at a design that was years ahead of its' time and this design stood the test of time.
It's been copied to death but never rivalled.
There are still about 300 left in revenue service, but their days are dwindling. In a few short years we will be adrift in disposabuses without a hope in sight.
This group will look at the remaining units and reminisce about the days when these reliable workhorses ruled the streets of North America.
No wannabe New Looks please, only genuine General Motors New Looks (Truck & Coach or GMDD). Classics are acceptable
