About Global Australians
The purpose of the Global Australians on flickr group is twofold:
1. To create a forum for Global Australians to display images that depict their experiences and favorite places from around the world.
2. To showcase the diverse nature of Australia represented through images of the Australian landscape, people and culture. The purpose of displaying local images of Australia is to remind Global Australians that there is no place like home.
The Global Australians group forms part of the Global Australians social footprint - an integrated campaign to connect Australians around the world commencing Monday September 28 2009. Other social channels include Linkedin, Facebook, Meetup, Twitter and more.
Through the flickr Global Australians group we aim to galvanize our expat community and bring them closer to home by representing their interests through images and photography.
