a glitch is an electrical pulse of short duration that is usually the result of a fault or design error.
To that I'd just like to emphasize that, in regards to digital photography, a glitch could be the result of equipment deterioration or poorly manufactured equipment - it's junk! or it crashed :( .
As such, the aberrant elements of the photos added to the pool should be outside the precise control of the photo worker.
All attempts will be made to avoid aesthetic judgments.
