About Your Photos Of Real Life Abroad
Welcome! If you've spent time traveling, studying, working, or volunteering abroad, we want to see your photos. We're most interested in photos of people going about their daily lives in other countries. We also love to know the stories behind your photos, so the more descriptive your caption, the better!
www.glimpse.org is a user-generated, professionally edited website supported in part by National Geographic. Our stories, photos, tips, and blogs are created by talented people living all over the globe. We work with authors to develop feature stories, giving aspiring journalists and photographers the chance to experience a professional editorial process and hone their storytelling skills.
Each month, we ask our group members to vote on their favorite photos submitted to the group pool, and the winning photo is featured on our site and in our monthly "photo of the month" newsletter. We also invite members to participate in our bimonthly photo contests and help us decide on the winning photo (prize is a $250 travel voucher, courtesy of STA Travel).
