Glasgow Skeptics is a group promoting science, reason and freedom of expression.

We at Glasgow Skeptics aim simply to find out what is true, what is not, and how to tell the difference. Skepticism is not a position; it is a method. All facts in science are subject to change, and therefore skepticism is a method leading to provisional conclusions.

Skepticism is the best way to stop fooling ourselves, and to prevent others fooling us. It is about seeking substantiation for claims, and recognising that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
