The original and still the best place to post and enjoy pictures of and from the City of Glasgow. If you live in Glasgow or have just passed through, please post your best shots.

We love it here.

This is a curated group - please only submit your very best pictures, and the moderation team will approve those that make their way into the pool. We won't spend endless hours justifying subjective decisions, so all topics along those lines will be closed - direct any queries to the group admin.

Group Guidelines:

1. Don't be a dick - Self explanatory, but any aggression or anything akin to it will result in swift ejection.

2. Just one post to the pool per day. - We really don't need forty pictures of the one dog in Kelvingrove Park. Really.

Do try to avoid posting the same old stuff if possible. The Science Centre and Clyde Bridges are all very nice, but there's so much more to our rich city.

3. Ask yourself - "Is this Glaswegian or not?" - if your picture doesn't meet the test, then it doesn't fit the pool. People in Glasgow are always acceptable (with the exception of extreme closeups) whereas inanimate objects against generic backgrounds are not. Exceptions may be made for Bucky bottles for obvious reasons.

If the connection to Glasgow is not apparent by looking at the photo, please explain it in the title or description, else it risks deletion.

4. Duplicates - If you post pictures that are very similar right next to each other, one will probably be deleted. There's no point - if people like the shot they'll click through and see the rest.

5. Mods are Gods - give them a shout if you've got any hassles.
