About Gibside - National Trust

Gibside is a landscape garden created in the 1700's and now being re-created by the National Trust. There is lots to see and do including the family scramble trail, wildlife hide, walled garden, Victorian shrubbery, Palladian Chapel, stables and lots of space to picnic in or just explore.

You can even stay at Gibside in the Stables Learning and Discovery Centre which is especially exciting for school groups.

With an excellent tearoom and shop stocking food and gifts, this is a great day out for locals and holidaymakers alike.
