About Abandoned Ghost of Americana - Geo Tagged
"I always wanted to take a photo of that, but somebody tore it down."
Abandoned structures, you see them here and there. Whether it's an old house missing a wall, a barn falling in on itself, a factory rusted with broken windows or a boat slowly wasting away on a shore.
Some of us drive around looking to take pictures of these, others just happen to stumble on them with a camera. But we all take pictures of them.
Until there gone.
This group is solely dedicated to those beautiful ruins, that by the wrecking ball, flame or time have finally returned back to the Earth and with only a Geo Tag left as a gravestone.
Photos you submit should meet each criteria below;
1. Any photo of a building, vehicle or structure that is old and falling apart (does not have to be abandoned).
2. You should be 90% sure this image can never be taken again, because the subject is gone.
3. The image is Geo Tagged where the subject once stood.
4. No historical images scanned or copied. We can all search the internet for photos of old stadiums or court houses. Images submitted must be your own.
5. While the photo doesn't need to have National Geographic quality, out of focus shots taken from cars, or images that use filters to make it look artistic are best left out (sepia & minor HDR is ok).
