About Get Wisdom

On 1 April 2010, most departments in Central Library closed for major restoration and refurbishment. The library closed its doors completely in June 2010. A visual record of the library as it was has been created for posterity. Thanks to everyone who contributed their wonderful personal views of this well-loved Manchester institution.
