Many of us live far apart or will live far apart from each other quite soon. What I wanted to create was a place where we can get the creative juices flowing and come up with some new ideas that challenge the way we use photography. This doesn't have to be difficult and it should be a place where you feel comfortable putting out your work with out people crapping all over your hard work.
That being this group is about friends sharing photos and ideas once a week. Each week there will be a new theme to shoot for. What you need to do is go out there and take that particular shot, or shots and upload them on the site.

So here is a new idea I was thinking about the other day. I like the idea of weekly projects, but for some it is hard to meet that demand. Especially if you are shooting film or just have a busy schedule. So Starting in August there will be a main monthly theme with weekly side themes associated with the main theme. For example. A monthly theme could be Macro, while the weekly themes are Macro-plants, Macro-toys, Macro-bugs, macro- for the sake of macro. This is just an idea, but I say we give it a shot in August. That way if someone misses one week, they can still post what photos, they have around a central theme.
