Nice idea, this.

I'm a creative director in a vast, vast corporate colossus (who shall, for the moment, remain nameless - hmmm, is that symbolic?) Anyway, I'm also a mail-order Reverend although not particularly religious.

My blog is a pulpit/soapbox for rants and raves on politics, philosophy, observations, work and opinions on tattoos (among other things) - peppered full of my photos and illustrations.

It all springs from the basic premise that You Are A Cog - and maybe thats not so bad.

Hi, I'm Munirah from Malaysia, hometown Penang Island. (I've posted this introduction in the Bloggers discussion group, but here it is again anyway).

I'm a newbie here. Mine is a photoblog of favourite pictures mainly from Flickr - pics of where I've been, would like to be, and of interesting shots by others that I like (some of you may find your uploads there!)

My blog started initially as a place to post selected funny, witty forwarded e-mails (or "spam"!) I often receive from friends (check the May postings).

Then it evolved into a series of images of places where I had been in the past - a kind of mini-archive of 'the good, the bad, and the ugly'..

However now most recent pics have been mainly of the present.

I am at: www.munirrah.blogspot.com

Most of the blogs posted here seem very interesting. I hope you will find mine to be of some interest too.

Please do feel free to comment and provide some pointers to improve my blog!

Hi, I'm BenRod, and I have built a social site for drinkers. Although I'm in Springfield, Missouri, my site has members from Hawaii, Oregon, Washington D.C., Florida, Africa, and elsewhere around the globe. We're not picky. If you like dirty jokes and beer, you'll find friends at my site.

My main blog is for all of my friends (and strangers) to check out things I find on the internet, news stories that interest me, and news about the website and its members.

My personal blog is just kind of a free-for-all. Anything I want to rant about more extensively, any photos I send from my phone, and some of my old short stories and poetry are all there, along with whatever else I feel like stuffing into it.

There are a couple of other blogs on my site, and I am trying to convince a couple of my other friends to participate from around the country so I can get some more dynamic content.

If you like the site, feel free to come into the forums and have a chat with some of the eccentric people who hang out there. Over the past 6 to 8 months, we've become a rather tight-knit group, bt we'd love to have new members.

While you're there, check out our T-shirt designs. Some of them are quite funny.

We also have a group on Flickr. We call ourselves The Porch Club.

Nice to meet you all.

You brought up a good point janine!

I would like to remind everyone who has submitted, or will be submitting their blogs :

A blog will not be approved until the ring code is visible & working on their blog. Either in the sidebar or footer.

Sorry, but a lot of good comes from being apart of this ring ;)

I have recoded and allowed the ringcode to be customised for each site (size & color)So this shouldn't be a problem.

For those who are approved --- but do not add your site ID to the ringcode snippet, I will move you out of rotation into the queue, after 72 hours.

Why should I have a bunch of blogs whose code is not working? Noone can surf to the next site.....

I am either a new member or a member awaiting approval. Hello.

My blog is Colonel Blink (The Short Sighted Gink) and I do not know how to describe it. It grew out of the emails I send my daughter, who is currently working in Jordan. It centres around living in a smallish city in the UK. A kind of Elizabeth And Her German Garden for our times I suppose. But without the gardening and Germany. And I am male and I don't know anyone called Elizabeth so it is not like that Edwardian Bestseller at all really.

You will be amazed to discover that I have never discussed the price of fish.

Its on Blogger and I just discovered five minutes ago that although it looks fine on Mozilla Firefox it looks dreadful on Internet Explorer.

Heather Gallay  Pro User  says:

Hi! I'm Heather, 29, grew up in New York and Boston, currently eyeing the Pacific Northwest.

I'm all about creativity and the arts -- my former profession was in the music industry, and I'm both a wannabe writer and a wannabe photographer. My boyfriend is a graphic artist, and I've got professional photographers in the family. So I'm surrounded by an artistic vibe.

For me, photography is an accessible escape. I tend to view the world and its (human) inhabitants from a jaded, cynical perspective, and I find myself depressed over what this world has become. Photography, especially nature photography, allows me to step outside myself and see the world as it was meant to be seen, and it helps me to regain some sense of peace, beauty and hope.

My photoblog is here: www.eyeflashes.com

Thanks...

It appears there hasn't been activity here for a while and the Blog even - the date was Jan 2006, Is this group on it's way out, has everything that can be done already been done? Just joined, looking for a Blog related group where members wish to promote their own and each other's Blogs.
I'll post and hope and if no activity at least I'm listed here I guess!

Have been blogging at MindSay.com for about a year, set up my own website a while ago and am building it with old fashioned html programming so my learning curve needs a good tweak! It was playing with my blog layouts that got me intersted in setting up a website. Flickr's great features also encouraged me to set up a discussion Forum, in conjunction with my website - giving it some interactivity, which I hope, will help it get going! My Blogs relate to the same general flavour as the website and my Flickr Gallery/Profile and include photos from Flickr and links to poetry and philosophy blogs.

I focus on exploring the beauty and lovliness of the natural world, the world of digital photography and the playful exploration of various expressive art forms to help me share what I see as a beautiful world in the midst of evolution. I'm thrilled to be a member of the human race an to be able to appreciate and record the wonders of the world I see is, I believe, a miraculous gift to share & treasure!
The work is all fledgling but growing. Come by for a visit!
Website: Our Enchanted Garden
Discussion Forum: A Forum For Nature
Garden Blog, And since I joined Flickr I also set up a blog at Blogspot using the Flickr links; Photo Blog

Hello, everyone! My name is Trina and I am from Clay, WV. I have a poetry/photo blog called All That Is Gold Does Not Glitter. It was originally started as my own personal form of release and inspiration for the day to day grind of life. Then, I sent the link to a few friends, some strangers ambled in and it became a constant. I thoroughly enjoy sharing the things that mean something to me.

Spencer Batchelder  Pro User  says:

Hello as my handle indicates my name is Spencer Batchelder, love flickr because it allows you to view other peoples lives and thier views through pictures, I also love the fact that I have a chance to read so many peoples blogs which I would have never come across otherwise. I am from NH currently serving in Iraq my blog is my daily life, experiences, and politics all wrapped up in one. It is linked off numerous websites and I fear with the militaries anti-blog policies it is endangered and will be extinct soon so check it out while you can
www.halfjack.typepad.com
Also there is another blog that I don't admin which I would like to mention that features only photos from NH called NH PHoto Tour.

I look forward to checking out some of your blogs.

Hi there,

I just joined this group. I write on my personal blog on livejournal and have been including photos via flickr for about a year and a half. I have a set of photos that I have blogged. Recently the entries have been traveling around South America looking for a new place to call home after leaving the Bay Area of California in May, 2006. We've visited Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. It looks like we're going to try and make Buenos Aires, Argentina home for the next 2-3 years as we learn Spanish.

Cheers,
Beatrice

Hi; I'm having fun going through these posts and checking out the diverse blogs on here. I'm Kim, and if you got to either my Flickr profile or blog page you'll find a brief summary of what I'm all about. I'm a mom, and also a nature and travel writer, and that pretty much sums up what my blog is all about (with the occasional dose of politics and the much-more-frequent dose of humor). You can find it at AZ Writer, or Arizona Writer, because I'm from Arizona and while I'm a capable writer, I kinda suck at titles.
