Il y a de la vie après 70 ans,was began to prove to myself that after 70 there is life. I write every day, in french, about my life and sentiments and thoughts and the discoveries of others I make in the blogosphère.
I have also other blogs, "Notes" about writing, "1944-2004" where I began to publish my diaries, and "ParisBalade" in english, at least it was began as that, mostly photos about my strolls in Paris.

Mine is a blog about being back in Iraq and my memories from the first time here...

I'm a newbie here. Mine is a photoblog of favourite pictures mainly from Flickr - pics of where I've been, would like to be, and of interesting shots by others that I like (some of you may find your uploads there!)
My blog started initially as a place to post selected funny, witty forwarded e-mails (or "spam"!) I often receive from friends (check the May postings).
Then it evolved into a series of images of places where I had been in the past - a kind of mini-archive of 'the good, the bad, and the ugly'..
However now most recent pics have been mainly of the present.

Hi, I'm BenRod, and I have built a social site for drinkers. Although I'm in Springfield, Missouri, my site has members from Hawaii, Oregon, Washington D.C., Florida, Africa, and elsewhere around the globe. We're not picky. If you like dirty jokes and beer, you'll find friends at my site.
My main blog is for all of my friends (and strangers) to check out things I find on the internet, news stories that interest me, and news about the website and its members.
My personal blog is just kind of a free-for-all. Anything I want to rant about more extensively, any photos I send from my phone, and some of my old short stories and poetry are all there, along with whatever else I feel like stuffing into it.
There are a couple of other blogs on my site, and I am trying to convince a couple of my other friends to participate from around the country so I can get some more dynamic content.
If you like the site, feel free to come into the forums and have a chat with some of the eccentric people who hang out there. Over the past 6 to 8 months, we've become a rather tight-knit group, bt we'd love to have new members.

i'm andy from saint louis, missouri. i'm an architect with a focus on twentieth century modern design. my blog architectural ruminations contains comments on various topics of architectural interest. specifically, it contains many entries on the saint louis modern architect Harris Armstrong. i'm preparing a monograph and biography of this architect's life and work.
my intention is to use my flickr site, my blog, and my website Raimist architecture in a complimentary way.
a good example would be a home designed by Harris Armstrong in the 1950s that i renovated. this project is represented on all three sites, but explained and presented in a different manner and context in each case.

I am either a new member or a member awaiting approval. Hello.
My blog is Colonel Blink (The Short Sighted Gink) and I do not know how to describe it. It grew out of the emails I send my daughter, who is currently working in Jordan. It centres around living in a smallish city in the UK. A kind of Elizabeth And Her German Garden for our times I suppose. But without the gardening and Germany. And I am male and I don't know anyone called Elizabeth so it is not like that Edwardian Bestseller at all really.
You will be amazed to discover that I have never discussed the price of fish.
Its on Blogger and I just discovered five minutes ago that although it looks fine on Mozilla Firefox it looks dreadful on Internet Explorer.
Sometimes you just can't win. :-)

Hi, My name is Tami I am live in Seattle, WA and have for five years. Before that I lived in Las Vegas, NV and really loved it there, but it was too hot. I like colder weather and love to experience the change of season, plus I do not mind rain. I have an Aplied Arts Degree in Culinary Arts and I am working on finishing an advanced baking degree. My preference is working in the baking area and I also like the pantry position working with salads and desserts. I am graduating from Business Administration from the University with a Bachelor's Degree in October 2005. I would like to one day own a bakery, corner shop cafe, with pastries, desserts, confections, coffee, tea and Internet access. Near where I live there is no such place, so I think it would be great.

Hi! I'm Heather, 29, grew up in New York and Boston, currently eyeing the Pacific Northwest.
I'm all about creativity and the arts -- my former profession was in the music industry, and I'm both a wannabe writer and a wannabe photographer. My boyfriend is a graphic artist, and I've got professional photographers in the family. So I'm surrounded by an artistic vibe.
For me, photography is an accessible escape. I tend to view the world and its (human) inhabitants from a jaded, cynical perspective, and I find myself depressed over what this world has become. Photography, especially nature photography, allows me to step outside myself and see the world as it was meant to be seen, and it helps me to regain some sense of peace, beauty and hope.

It appears there hasn't been activity here for a while and the Blog even - the date was Jan 2006, Is this group on it's way out, has everything that can be done already been done? Just joined, looking for a Blog related group where members wish to promote their own and each other's Blogs.
I'll post and hope and if no activity at least I'm listed here I guess!
Have been blogging at MindSay.com for about a year, set up my own website a while ago and am building it with old fashioned html programming so my learning curve needs a good tweak! It was playing with my blog layouts that got me intersted in setting up a website. Flickr's great features also encouraged me to set up a discussion Forum, in conjunction with my website - giving it some interactivity, which I hope, will help it get going! My Blogs relate to the same general flavour as the website and my Flickr Gallery/Profile and include photos from Flickr and links to poetry and philosophy blogs.
I focus on exploring the beauty and lovliness of the natural world, the world of digital photography and the playful exploration of various expressive art forms to help me share what I see as a beautiful world in the midst of evolution. I'm thrilled to be a member of the human race an to be able to appreciate and record the wonders of the world I see is, I believe, a miraculous gift to share & treasure!

Hello as my handle indicates my name is Spencer Batchelder, love flickr because it allows you to view other peoples lives and thier views through pictures, I also love the fact that I have a chance to read so many peoples blogs which I would have never come across otherwise. I am from NH currently serving in Iraq my blog is my daily life, experiences, and politics all wrapped up in one. Hi there,
I just joined this group. I write on my personal blog on livejournal and have been including photos via flickr for about a year and a half. I have a set of photos that I have blogged. Recently the entries have been traveling around South America looking for a new place to call home after leaving the Bay Area of California in May, 2006. We've visited Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. It looks like we're going to try and make Buenos Aires, Argentina home for the next 2-3 years as we learn Spanish.
