About Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia
Germantown Avenue is an eleven mile long road that goes from the center of town to its Northwest boundaries to what was originally the separate city of Germantown. The road passes through a wide variety of Philly neighborhoods, including some of its poorest and richest.
The neighbords include (from North to South):
Chestnut Hill
Mt Airy
Germantown
Tioga
Fairhill
West Kensington
Northern Liberties
